Loretta M. DeCap, 75, of Rock Island, formerly of Matherville, IL, passed away Tuesday, June 25, 2019 at UPH-Trinity, Rock Island.

A memorial service will be held at 11:00 am on Saturday, June 29, 2019 at Wheelan-Pressly Funeral Home and Crematory, 201 E. 4th Ave., Milan.  Visitation will be one hour prior to service.  Inurnment will be at Farlow Grove Cemetery, Matherville.  Memorials may be made to the American Heart Association.

Loretta was born on October 17, 1943 in Rock Island, the daughter of Harold and Doris (Eckhardt) Ziemer.  She enjoyed cooking, spending time with her family and crocheting.

Loretta is survived by her children, David (Chelsey) DeCap, Joe DeCap, and Lisa Rubio; grandchildren, Monique DeCap, Seth Fuller, Ethan DeCap, Cassalyn Fuller, Landon (Destyne) Fuller, Jax DeCap, and Mira DeCap; great granddaughter, Camdeyn Fuller; and sisters, Janette Forsberg and Bonnie Sue Ziemer.  She was preceded in death by her parents and brothers, David and Bill Ziemer.
