E. Lorraine Knott, 90, of Milan, passed away Friday January 28, 2022 at ProMedica Nursing and Rehabilitation, Moline.

Services will be 10AM Friday February 4, 2022 at Wheelan-Pressly Funeral Home and Crematory, Rock Island. Visitation will be from Thursday from 4:00-8:00pm at the funeral home. Burial will follow in Rock Island National Cemetery. Memorials may be left to the American Heart Association.

Lorraine was born on June 16, 1931 in Rock Island, the daughter of Oliver G. and Frances (Crawford) Eklund. She married Robert R. Johnson on March 23, 1950 in Rock Island. She later married Clifton Knott on April 22, 1977 in Nashville, Tennessee. He preceded her in death on October 24, 1999. She recently had been together with Robert Doering, until his passing in December of 2020.

She had been employed at First Midwest Bank, Moline as a vault teller, retiring in 1988. She had also been employed at Black Hawk Bank, Milan.

Lorraine loved gardening, growing flowers, sewing and traveling. She had been a member of the Rock Island Moose and Eagle Clubs, Svithiod Club of Moline and Vikings Club, Moline.

Survivors include her daughter, Katherine Crooks, Rock Island; grandson, Adam Crooks, Davenport; step children, Cheryl Meeske and Criss Knott; great grandchildren, Heather Lee Rudsell, Elizabeth Rudsell, Montana Leann Rudsell, Erica Tessa Renae Rudsell, Elizabeth Westerhof-Crooks and Caleb Westerhof-Crooks; several step grandchildren and step great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents; Oliver and Frances; grandson, Eric Lee Rudsell in 2014 and brother, Oliver E. Eklund.
