Lottie P. Reed, 84, of Milan, passed away on Monday, February 19, 2018 at the Hope Creek Care Center, East Moline. Private Graveside services have been held at the Rock Island National Cemetery. Memorials may be made to the Coyne Center Fire Department. Wheelan-Pressly Funeral Home and Crematory, Milan assisted the family. Lottie was born on October 29, 1933 in Shelbina, Missouri, a daughter of Oscar and Vera (Kite) Montgomery. She married Charles Reed on February 22, 1950 in Hannibal, Missouri. He preceded her in death on May 1, 1989. Lottie was a homemaker. She had previously worked for Canteen Food Services while at John Deere and International Harvester. She was a member of the Ladies Auxiliary of the Coyne Center Fire Department. She had been a Den Mother for Cub Scout Pack No. 219. She served on the water board of the Cropper Edition, Coyne Center. She enjoyed crafts, knitting and painting. Survivors include her children, Larry (Becky) Reed, Milan, Sharon (Mike) Petrick, Rio, Richard (Mary Jo) Reed, Coal Valley, Robin (Tony) Carillo, Bettendorf, Susan (Charlie) Typinski, Milan; 11 grandchildren; 12 great grandchildren and 2 great-great grandchildren and one on the way.
