Louis "Louie" Hoffman, 66, of Andalusia, IL, passed away on Sunday, April 19, 2026, at his home. Born on August 21, 1959, the son of the late Edward and Alice (Hillman) Hoffman. Louie was raised by his mother Alice and stepfather Roy Brown whom he loved dearly.

An avid fisherman, Louie enjoyed many afternoons on the water with his brother Chuck, always ready for a good-natured rivalry over the biggest catch. He enjoyed playing and watching golf, indulging in the sounds of blues music, and sharing spirited evenings of poker with family and friends. His passion for riding his motorcycle was evident in the joy it brought him as he explored the open road.

Louie is survived by his children, Linda, Laura, Lou, and Corey; 8 grandchildren; and a host of nieces and nephews. He is also survived by his siblings, Connie Brock, Linda Hesse, and Chuck Hoffman, as well as a vast circle of friends who will remember him for his warmth and humor. Louie was preceded in death by his beloved parents Roy and Alice Brown; his brother, Bob Freeburg; and his brother-in-law, Don Brock.

The family is receiving friends at Louie’s home at this time for those who wish to stop by and share their stories. A private memorial will be held on Saturday, April 25th for family.
