Louise M. Quint, 98, of Rock Island, passed away Sunday, December 9, 2018 at St. Anthony's Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, Rock Island.  Memorial services for Louise will be held at a later date.  Memorials may be made to the Rock Island Police Benevolent Association.

Louise was born October 19, 1920 in Meriden, Minnesota, a daughter of Herman and Rose (Zemple) Mundt.  She married Ora L. Quint, Jr. on September 18, 1942 in Owatonna, MN.  Ora passed away on January 8, 1968.  Louise worked for Geifman Food Stores for nearly 20 years.  She was a member of the Order of the Eastern Star #269 and Daughters of the Nile Pyramid Temple #10.  Louise belonged to St. John Lutheran Church in Rock Island over 60 years.  She enjoyed crocheting and listening to Lawrence Welk.

Survivors include her daughter, Viola Berg Salomon (David); grandchildren, Danni (Carrie) and Ben Berg; 3 great grandsons; and many other loving family members and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, daughter, Anita Steagall; grandchildren, Laura Leigh and Brian; both brothers and a sister; plus over 12 boyfriends.
