Louise L. Stice, 95, of Rock Island, passed away on Friday, December 8, 2017 at UnityPoint Health-Trinity, Rock Island. Services for Louise will be 11 am, Tuesday at Church of Peace, United Church of Christ, Rock Island. Visitation will be from 4 pm to 7pm, Monday at the Wheelan-Pressly Funeral Home and Crematory, Rock Island. Burial will be in Rose Lawn Cemetery, Moline. Memorials may be made to Church of Peace, United Church of Christ, Rock Island. Louise was born on May 29, 1922 in New Boston, a daughter of Fred and Lucinda (Inman) Loving. She married Kenneth Stice on September 17, 1955 in Galesburg. He preceded her in death. Louise had worked as the office manager at Sheet Metals Workers, Local No. 91, Rock Island.  She was a member of Church of Peace, United Church of Christ, Rock Island, Moline American Legion Auxiliary, Moline VFW Auxiliary, AARP, and was a Lifetime Member of the Rock Island Moose. Louise was an avid bowler and enjoyed going to the Casinos. Survivors include several nieces, nephews and great nieces and great nephews; and a sister, Doris M. Louck, Aledo. Louise was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Kenneth; and a son, Gregory Stice; siblings, Willard loving, Dorothy Briggs, Maxine Hamilton, Richard P. Loving and Fred A. Loving.
