Lucy N.  Green, 82, of Rock Island, passed away Wednesday, May 17, 2023, at her residence.

Funeral service will be held at 1:00 pm on Tuesday, May 23, 2023, at Wheelan-Pressly Funeral Home and Crematory, Milan.  Visitation will be one hour prior to service.  Burial is at Greenview Memorial Gardens, East Moline.  Memorials may be made to the family.

Lucy was born on June 10, 1940 in Alabama, the daughter of Thomas and Minnie (Vickery) Anderson.  She married Richard Green on April 22, 1957, he preceded her in death in 2011.  She worked as an assembler at IH.  Lucy enjoyed painting, quilting, watching CSI and playing bingo.  She was an active member of Church of Christ, Moline.  Most of all she loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.

Lucy is survived by her children, Elizabeth Elliott, Karen (Randy) Schweickhardt, and Mark Green; grandchildren, Randy, Garrett, Jessie, Josh, Justin, Janell, and Rusty; several great grandchildren; 2 great great grandchildren; and siblings, Linda (Dale) Mitchell; Donald Anderson, and Bant Anderson.  She was preceded in death by her husband; son, Richard Green; several sisters and brothers; and son-in-law, Rick Elliott.
