Luella L. McKee, 93, of Milan, passed away Thursday, July 15, 2021 at Clarissa C. Cook Hospice House, Bettendorf.

A funeral service will be held at 2:00 pm on Thursday, July 22, 2021 at Wheelan-Pressly Funeral Home and Crematory, Milan.  Visitation will be held from 12:00 pm (Noon) until the service.  Burial will be at Preemption Cemetery, Preemption, IL.  Memorials may be made to the Quad City Animal Welfare Center, Milan.

Luella was born on May 6, 1928 in Milan, the daughter of John and Celesta (Wilson) Berg.  She married Richard F. McKee on September 30, 1950 in Milan, he preceded her in death in 2007.  Luella enjoyed working on the farm with her husband, sewing, quilting, and gardening.  She was a member of T.O.P.S.

Luella is survived by her children, Preston McKee, Milan, John W. McKee, Ocala, FL, Celeste (Richard) K. Homrighausen, Bennett, IA, Sarah Burton, Rock Island, Jane (Harold) Byrd, Kempner, TX, and Judy L. McKee, Seattle, WA; grandchildren, Connie McKee, Katie (Clayton) Hall, Celesta Burton, and Evalyn Reed; great grandchildren, Jacob, Dameon, Rayna, Rian, Gavyn, Brenna, and Camden; and numerous nieces and nephews.  She was preceded in death by her husband, Richard McKee; parents; son, George McKee; brothers, Elwood and Harry Berg; and sister, Doris Wagner-Bosma.
