Lynette H. Marr, 76, of Illinois City, passed away Monday, October 19, 2015 at UPH-Trinity, Rock Island.

Funeral service will be held 10:00 AM on Friday, October 23, 2015 at Wheelan-Pressly Funeral Home,201 E. 4th Ave., Milan. Visitation will be 3 PM to 7 PM on Thursday, October 22, 2015 at the funeral home. Burial will be at Greenview Memorial Gardens Cemetery, East Moline. Memorials may be made to Buffalo Prairie Presbyterian Evangelical Church or The Andalusia Volunteer Ambulance.

Lynette was born January 22, 1939 in Moline, the daughter of Donald and Shirley (Engholm) Anderson. She married Melvin Marr on October 11, 1958 in Moline. Lynette was an excellent cook and baker. She enjoyed corresponding monthly with friends and family via greeting cards.

Lynette is survived by her husband of 57 years, Melvin Marr, Illinois City; children, Cynthia (Bill) Minard, Colona, Gerald Marr, Illinois City, Donna (Joe) DeSchepper, Aledo, and Susan Marr, Muscatine, IA; grandchildren, Emily (Scott) Spencer, Lincoln (Shana) Marr, Daniel (Sarah) Foster, Adam (Melissa) Minard, Lindsay (Albert) Muniz, and Tara (Joe) Nemitz; great grandchildren, Emmalyn, Bryson, and Joslyn Foster, Sebastian and Preston Marr, Ruby Muniz and Adrian Muniz, Gibson and Hendrix Minard, Reyna and Braeden Einfeldt, Chloe and Brooke Spencer, and baby Nemitz due next summer; and sister, Sylvia Anderson, San Francisco, CA. She was preceded in death by her parents and great grandson, Rylan Foster.
