Lynette K. Piasecki, 62, of Milan, passed away Sunday May 18, 2025 at her daughter's home.
Visitation will be from 4:00 to 7:00 PM Thursday at Wheelan-Pressly Funeral Home and Crematory, Milan. A celebration of life gathering for Lynette will be held at the Geneseo Country Club on Saturday July 12th. Private burial will be in Greenview Memorial Gardens, East Moline. In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to her family.
Lynette was born on March 22, 1963 in Muskegon, Michigan, the daughter of Richard Piasecki and Margarette "Maggie" Blackford.
Lynette had been employed at XPAC, Milan in management for 33 years until switching companies. After leaving XPAC, she had worked at John Deere Harvester, East Moline for the last 6 years.
Lynette was an award winning pool player, loved mushrooming, traveling with her grandchildren to water parks and zoos, fishing and gardening. Lynette would make friends everywhere she went, and her friendship a lasting effect. She was a devoted mother and grandmother and always had a smart remark.
Survivors include her daughters, Blythe (Jonathan) Hughes, Cierra Piasecki (Dusty Kress); grandchildren, Logan, Finnigan, Amelia, Margarette; siblings, Andrew (Vickie) Piasecki, Roxanne Piasecki, Jennifer Sandman; sister in law, Sally Piasecki; several nieces and nephews; and her loving puppy, Bo.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Maggie; brothers, Larry and Dominque and sister, Debra.
