Madelein R. Petty, 89, of Rock Island, formerly of Milan, passed away Friday, December 15, 2017 at her residence.

Funeral service will be held at 2:00 pm on Tuesday, December 19, 2017 at Wheelan-Pressly Funeral Home and Crematory, 201 E. 4th Ave, Milan.  Visitation will be held one hour prior to service.  Burial will be at Calvary Cemetery, Rock Island.  Memorials may be made to St. Ambrose Catholic Church, Milan.

Madelein was born on May 26, 1928 in Kewanee, IL, the daughter of Camiel D'Haeze and Alice DeBrukyer.  She married Bruce R. Petty on August 24, 1946 in Kewanee, he preceded her in death in 2001.  Madelein was a member at St. Ambrose Catholic Church, Milan.

Madelein is survived by her children, Connie (Ronald) Aust, Davenport, Vickie (Jim) Dolk, Silvis, and Bruce (Sheila) Petty, Oak Grove; grandchildren, Gregory Aust, Kimberlyn Aust, Tiffany Dolk, Adam Dolk, and Bruce Riley Petty II; and great grandchildren, Jessica, Brianna and David Aust and Samuel Dolk.  She was preceded in death by her husband and brother, Marcel D'Haeze.
