Marcella M. Dickerson, 80, of Moline, passed away on Friday, July 12, 2024 at UnityPoint Health Trinity, Rock Island.

A funeral service will be held at 11:00 am on Thursday, July 18, 2024 at Wheelan-Pressly Funeral Home and Crematory, Rock Island. Visitation will be held one prior to the service at the funeral home. Burial will be in Rock Island National Cemetery. Memorials may be made in care of the family to help with her grandchildren's education.

Marcella was born on January 18, 1944 in Rock Island, a daughter of Clarence and Evelyn Dusenberry. She married Butler Lee Dickerson on December 11, 1971 in Moline, IL. Marcella worked as a floral designer for many years at various places, including Miller's Florist and Jewel Osco.

Those left to cherish Marcella's memory include her husband, Lee Dickerson; children, Jason Dickerson and Tammy Dickerson; grandchildren, Tora and Xavier Dickerson; sister, Ruth Ann Wilfong; and a host of extended family.

Marcella was preceded in death by her parents and siblings, Dale Dusenberry and Marietta Schrader.
