Marcie Rittich, 49, of Green Bay, WI. died on May 15,2014 in Rock Island, IL. with her family beside her following a long illness. Wheelan-Pressly Funeral Home, Rock Island is assisting the family.

Marcie was born in Moline, IL in 1964 to Robert and Rebecca Van Hecke Sisk. The family moved to Dubuque IA where Marcie attended school, and graduated from Hempstead High School in 1982. She then moved to Green Bay and worked in food service at several restaurants in that area. She was also a seasonal worker for the Green Bay Packers, her favorite football team. She married Brian Rittich in 1996, and they later divorced. Marcie had many friends and enjoyed working with the public. She frequently made crafts with a particular theme, and donated all those profits to charities of that theme. Marcie loved cooking, and enjoyed entertaining family and friends, or taking special dishes to elderly and shut-in neighbors and friends. Her daily goal throughout her illness was to laugh and smile at least once every day, and to bring a smile to others around her when possible. She was an accomplished pianist, and loved to play. she was preceded in death by her parents, Robert Sisk and Rebecca Kohler, her brother Matt Sisk, and her partner of many years, Robert Gillette. Marcie is survived by many loved friends as well as her sisters, Melissa Reese of Muscatine, IA; Jennifer Sisk (Travis Olson) of Dubuque, IA; her step-mother, Terry Sisk of Rock Island, IL; two nieces and two nephews; two great-nephews and one great niece; and her close friend of many years, AnneMarie Koppers of Pulaski, WI.
