Margaret A. Hannah, 92, of Rock Island, formerly of Taylor Ridge, passed away Thursday February 23, 20176 at Silver Cross Nursing and Rehab., Rock Island.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be 10am Tuesday at St. Ambrose Catholic Church, Milan. Visitation will be from 3:00-7:00pm Monday at Wheelan-Pressly Funeral Home, Milan. Entombment will be in Calvary Mausoleum, Rock Island. Memorials may be left to St. Ambrose Catholic Church.

Margaret was born on August 22, 1924 in Taylor Ridge. She graduated from Reynolds High School, Reynolds, Il. She married Cecil Hannah on October 7, 1944 at St. Ambrose Church. She helped her husband on their farm in Taylor Ridge and stayed home to raise their three sons.

Mrs. Hannah was a member of St. Ambrose Catholic Church, Milan. She was a devoted Chicago Cubs fan and loved cooking fried chicken and cookies for her family. Margaret and Cecil had also enjoyed wintering in Arizona for 14 years and camping and fishing at Landuits Lake in the summer.

Survivors include her sons, Michael(Jackie) Hannah, Rock Island, Vincent(Marty) Hannah, Geneseo, Allan Hannah, Monmouth, IL; grandchildren, Laurie (Shawn) Meenan, Phoenix, AZ, Tim Hannah, Geneseo, David Hannah, Rock Island, Jeff Hannah, Moline, Cyndie (Shawn) Webster, Moline, Cheyenne Hannah, Alexis; great grandchildren, Andrew, Taylor, Brandon, Hannah, Paige, Daniel, Dylan, Blake, Connor, Jonathon, Allison; great-great grandchildren, Andrew, Serenity, Maddox, Jayden and Carter; special friends, Clarissa and David Jahn.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Cecil; sisters, Rita Ryan, Kathleen Hannah; brothers, Jack Curry and Joe Curry.
