Margaret T. Dusenbery, 89, of Rock Island, passed away Friday, March 25, 2016 at Rosewood Care Center, Moline.

Funeral service will be held at 10:00 AM on Monday, March 28, 2016 at Wheelan-Pressly Funeral Home and Crematory, 3030 7th Ave., Rock Island.  Visitation will be one hour prior at the funeral home.  Burial will be at Chippiannock Cemetery, Rock Island.  Memorials may be made to the family.

Margaret was born on July 10, 1926 in Rock Island, the daughter of Walter and Mary (Long) Ewert.  After her mother passed away at a young age Margaret was raised by her aunt and uncle, Clarence and Agnes Wells.  She married Merle "Wayne" Dusenbery in April of 1951 in Illinois.  Margaret worked as a laborer at Servus Rubber for 45 years.  She was a member of the VFW and Moose Lodge in Rock Island.

Margaret is survived by numerous nieces and nephews, including Jolene Mundt; many great and great-great nieces and nephews.  She was preceded in death by her husband, Merle Dusenbery; parents; and sisters, Virginia Motola and Doloras Mincer.
