Margaret "Maggie" Hasselroth, 88, of Milan, passed away Wednesday July 6, 2016 at Silver Cross Nursing Center, Rock Island.

Visitation will be Sunday from 2:00-5:00pm at Wheelan-Pressly Funeral Home, Milan. Private inurnment will be at a later date in Drury Reynolds Cemetery. Memorials may be left to Friendship Manor.

Margaret was born on March 18, 1928 in Kewanee, Il, the daughter of Charles and Marcella VanOpdorp. She was a graduate of Moline High School in 1946. Maggie married Robert Hasselroth on July 13, 1963. He preceded her in death on May 27, 1997.

Mrs. Hasselroth was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Moline and volunteered with Trinity Medical Center in the Gift Shop for 20 years. She loved spending time with her family, reading, traveling and shopping.

Survivors include her son and daughter in law, Dean and Sara Hasselroth, Milan; grandchildren, Carson, Megan, Colin, Avery, Spencer and brother, Robert C. VanOpdorp.
