Margaret A. Housby, 80, of Rock Island, passed away Saturday, May 11th, 2024, at home surrounded by her immediate family.

Margaret was born May 23rd, 1943 in Moline to Henrietta Comp and Loyd Perkins. Margaret's hobbies included quilting, crafting, reading, camping, fishing, and spending time with family. Margaret retired from Farmall. She married Edward Housby Sr. on January 29th, 1960.

Margaret is survived by her children; Kathy Hayes, Tolono, IL, Therese (Jeff) Adams, Virginia Beach, VA, Dennis (Patty Lach) Housby, Taylor Ridge, Patricia (Robert) Cather, Sherrard, Deborah Housby Bundy, Moline, Rose Mann, East Moline, Mary (Kraig) Liddell, Le Claire, IA; daughter-in-law Linda Housby; son-in-law Michael Robert Sr.; 21 grandchildren; 35 great grandchildren; 1 great-great grandchild; 1 brother and 6 sisters-in-law.

Margaret was proceeded in death by husband, Edward Housby Sr.; son, Edward Housby Jr.; daughter, Lori Housby Roberts; granddaughter, Sgt. Jessica Housby; father, Loyd Perkins; mother and step father, Henrietta and Duane Paige.
