Margaret L. Kelly, 93, of Rock Island, passed away Tuesday, May 29, 2018 at St. Anthony's Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, Rock Island.

A Celebration of Life service will be held at 2:00 pm on Saturday, June 9, 2018 at Wheelan-Pressly Funeral Home and Crematory, 3030 7th Ave., Rock Island.  Visitation will be held one hour prior to service.

Margaret was born on September 6, 1924 in Water Valley, MS, the daughter of Matthew and Caroline Brown.  She married John W. Kelly Sr., he preceded her in death.  Margaret enjoyed casinos and doing jigsaw puzzles.

Margaret is survived by her children, Jane Turner, RI, William (Alvie) Lewis, Chicago, John W. (Cynthia) Kelly Jr., Water Valley, MS, and Robert (Kim) Kelly, San Bernadino, CA; 21 grandchildren, and numerous great grandchildren.  She was preceded in death by her husband; parents; and 5 siblings.
