Margaret J. Steele, 57, of Davenport, passed away Friday August 15, 2014 at Unitypoint Health - Trinity, Bettendorf.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 6:00 PM on Tuesday August 19, 2014, at Wheelan-Pressly Funeral Home, 3030 7th Avenue, Rock Island. Visitation will be held one hour prior to service. Memorials may be made to the family.

Margaret was born June 7, 1957, in Davenport, the daughter of Morris and Jeanne (Beach) Burgess. She married Ron Steele on January 1, 1994, in Davenport. Margaret worked in the food service department at Unitypoint Health - Trinity at Terrace Park in Bettendorf. She enjoyed going antiquing, participating with her dog Cleo in Daschund races, and spending time with her two grandsons.

She will be remembered by her husband Ron Steele; her son Josh Burgess; her two grandsons Kayne and Karver Burgess; her two brothers Rex (Addie) Clyde and Jerry (Marti) Clyde; and her three sisters Kathy (Rick) Nelson, Mary (Tony) Inman, and Marsha Burgess. She was preceded in death by her parents.
