Margo E. Vercauteren, 69, of Rock Island passed away on Monday, March 28, 2022 at UnityPoint Health Trinity, Rock Island.

No services are planned at this time and cremation rites have been accorded. Wheelan-Pressly Funeral Home and Crematory, Rock Island is assisting the family.

Margo was born on September 20, 1952 in Moline, a daughter of Donald and Margaret (Peterson) Eaton. She married Larry Vercauteren Sr. on January 9, 1971 in Rock Island. Margo was a homemaker for many years and stayed home to care for two children. Once the children were out of school, she went on to work at the Moline International Airport as a security screener for several years. She enjoyed roller skating, but her greatest joy in life was spending time with her granddaughter.

Those left to cherish her memory include her husband, Larry Sr.; children, Larry Vercauteren Jr. and Candi (Loren) Lybeck; granddaughter, Shelby; and sister, Donna (Fred) Viren.

She was preceded in death by her parents.
