Marian "Mimi" L. Ramsey, 71, of Indianapolis, formerly of Rock Island, passed away Wednesday, January 13, 2016 at her residence.

A graveside service will be held at 2:45 pm on Monday, January 18, 2016 at Davenport Memorial Park Cemetery Mausoleum Chapel, Davenport. Visitation will be held from 12 pm to 2 pm at Wheelan-Pressly Funeral Home and Crematory, Rock Island, prior to graveside service on Monday. Memorials may be made to Family and Friends of the mentally handicapped, 3303 22nd Ave., Rock Island, IL 61201.

Marian was born February 20, 1944 in Moline, the daughter of Donald and Mary (Yates) Kincaid. She married Robert D. Ramsey on April 12, 1963 in Rock Island. Marian was employed at Sears Service Center as a supervisor. Marian enjoyed gardening, harness racing and going to casinos. She also enjoyed spending time with family and friends, but her greatest love was for her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren often taking them on family vacations.

Marian is survived by her children, Mary Beth (Dan) Schram, Beloit, WI, Deborah (Bruce) Keith, Indianapolis, IN, and Robert (Amber) Ramsey Jr., Johnson City, TN; ten grandchildren; seven great grandchildren; sister, Kathleen Lannan; sisters-in-law, Evelyn Heath, Maxine (Wiley) Barnes, and Jean Ramsey; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert D. Ramsey; her parents; and sister, Judy.
