Marie E. Clason, 72, of Milan, passed away Friday March 18, 2016 at her
home.
Visitation will be Tuesday from 4-8pm Tuesday at Wheelan-Pressly
Funeral Home, Milan. Funeral services will be 10 am Wednesday at the
funeral home. Burial will follow in Rock Island Memorial Park Cemetery.
Memorials may be left to Quad City Animal Welfare Center, Milan.
Marie was born on September 24, 1943 in Davenport, the daughter of Don
R. Ellingsworth and Elaine Klipstein. She
married Leroy Clason on December 31, 1975.
She loved spending time with her family, sewing, gardening, zipper art
and traveling. Marie had been a member the Holiday Rambler Chapter 8
and Blackhawk Fire Protection District Auxiliary.
Survivors include her daughters Lori(Terry) Wensel, Milan, Linda (Brad)
Small, Milan, and Michele (John) Spangle, Indiana; 11 grandchildren,
11 great grandchildren; siblings, Sandy (Bud) Halvorson, Oregon,
Robert (Carol) Ellingsworth, Davenport, and sister-in-law Carole Ellingsworth and various nephews, nieces and cousins.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Leroy; son, Don C. Morey, brothers, Don Ellingsworth and Kenneth Kennedy, sister Susie Kennedy and a great grandson.
