Marie L. DeRoin, 89, of East Moline, passed away Thursday September 17, 2015 at Hope Creek Care Center, East Moline.
Funeral services will be 10:30am Saturday at Wheelan-Pressly Funeral Home, Rock Island. Visitation will be from 8:30 to service time at the funeral home. Burial will be in Roselawn Memorial Estates Cemetery, Moline.
Marie was born on August 19, 1926 in Rock Island, the daughter of Earl and Lottie Browder. She married Harrison DeRoin in Rock Island.
She loved spending time with her family especially raising her children.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Harrison; son, Adrian DeRoin and sister, Ann Schramm.
Survivors include her sister, Colleen Murphy, Chicago; children, Celeste (Bob) Duddleston, Ohio, Paul DeRoin, Colona, Kevin (Terri) DeRoin, Blue Grass, Glenn DeRoin, East Moline; 8 grandchildren and several great grandchildren.
