Marietta Schrader, 84, Andalusia, IL passed away on Friday, April 21, 2023 at UnityPoint-Trinity, Rock Island. There will be a rosary at 3:30 pm with a visitation following from 4-7:00 pm on Thursday, April 27, 2023 at Wheelan-Pressly Funeral Home and Crematory, Milan. There will be a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 am on Friday, April 28, 2023 at St. Pius X Catholic Church, Rock Island. Burial at Illinois City Cemetery. Memorials preferred to the Andalusia Volunteer Ambulance.

Marietta was born on February 13, 1939 to Clarence and Evelyn (Fuller) Dusenberry in Rock Island. After graduating high school, she met and married Leon Schrader on June 4, 1960. The couple made their home in Andalusia where they raised their children.

After her children were grown, Marietta worked for Homes Magazine and Illinois Bell where she enjoyed meeting many people.

Marietta's hobbies included bowling and jigsaw puzzles, which she especially enjoyed doing with her family. She was a charter member of the "Jones Street Kids Club" and she cherished the camaraderie she had with her friends and all the activities they participated in over the past 50 years.

She will be greatly missed by her husband of 62 years, Leon; daughters, Lisa (Noel) Anderson, Vicki (Brian Hodson) Blair; sisters, Marcella "Peachy" Dickerson and Ruth Willfong; grandchildren, Nicole (Jayson) Blanchard, Sydney (John Jr.) Mosley, and Lauren Anderson; and five great-grandchildren--all of whom she loved and adored unconditionally.

She was preceded in death by her parents; infant daughter, Cynthia Schrader; and brother, Dale Dusenberry.
