Marilyn J. Dean, 84, of Taylor Ridge, passed away on Thursday, May 23, 2024 at home.

Per Marilyn's wishes, cremation rites have been accorded and a private graveside service will be held at Andalusia Cemetery. Memorials may be left in care of St. Matthew Lutheran Church, Milan. Wheelan-Pressly Funeral Home and Crematory, Milan is assisting the family.

Marilyn was born on November 23, 1939 in Geneseo, IL, a daughter of Floyd and Irene (Betcher) Johnson. She married Ronald Dean on May 3, 1959 in Geneseo, IL. Marilyn worked as a press operator for Regalia Manufacturing in Rock Island for a few years.

Marilyn enjoyed spending time with her family and antiquing. She was a member of St. Matthew Lutheran Church, Milan.

Those left to cherish Marilyn's memory include her husband, Ronald Dean, Taylor Ridge; son, Jeffrey (Lori) Dean, Muscatine; and grandson, Steven Dean.

Marilyn was preceded in death by her parents and son, Michael Dean.

The family would like to thank the staff at UnityPoint Hospice for everything they have done in these past few weeks.
