Obituary
Marilyn A. Hill, 84, of Rock Island, passed away Saturday, October 8, 2016 at her residence.
Funeral service will be held at 10:00 AM on Wednesday, October 12, 2016 at Wheelan-Pressly Funeral Home and Crematory, Rock Island. Visitation will be one hour prior to service. Burial will be at National Cemetery, Rock Island. Memorials may be made to the St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital.
Marilyn was born on April 18, 1932 in Moline, the daughter of Charles and Luvisa (Dalton) Driscoll. She married Eugene Hill on June 18, 1951 in Gulf Port, MS. Marilyn enjoyed participating in her bowling leagues and shopping.
Marilyn is survived by her husband of 65 years, Eugene Hill, Rock Island; daughter, Jamie Hill and her husband, Lee Blackmon, Moline; granddaughter, Samantha Tonn; sister, Barbara (Joe) Vinzant, East Moline; and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; son, Robin Hill; and sisters, Jean Kerr and Patricia Jahns.
