Marilyn B. Hubbard, 100, of Rock Island, passed away Friday, January 20, 2023, at Friendship Manor, Rock Island.

Funeral service will be held at 1:00 pm on Wednesday, January 25, 2023, at Wheelan-Pressly Funeral Home and Crematory, Rock Island, the service will also be livestreamed for those who aren't able to attend, and can be viewed at www.wheelanpressly.com/live-stream.  Visitation will be one hour prior to service.  Burial will be at Memorial Park Cemetery, Rock Island.  Memorials may be made to the First Evangelical Lutheran Church, Rock Island or to QC PAWS.

Marilyn was born on January 15, 1923 in Moline, the daughter of Pliny and Emelia (Nuessli) Kidd.  She married Donald Hubbard on June 21, 1946.  She retired as a secretary from the Moline School District.  Marilyn was a member of First Evangelical Lutheran Church, Rock Island, and former member of King's Daughters.  She was a great cook, and held a big meal for family and friends every Sunday.  Most of all she loved the time spend with her family, especially her grandchildren.

Marilyn is survived by her children, Lisa (Dan) Wolever and Jay (Debbie) Hubbard; daughter-in-law, Leslie Hubbard; 6 grandchildren; and numerous great grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.  She was preceded in death by her husband; parents; sons, Terry and Kim Hubbard; brother, Robert Kidd; and sister, Joan Pealstrom.
