Marilyn McClary, 63, of Rock Island, passed away on Thursday, May 6, 2021 at UnityPoint Health-Trinity, Rock Island. A Celebration of Life Gathering will be held at a later date. Memorials may be made to the family. Wheelan-Pressly Funeral Home and Crematory, Rock Island is assisting the family.

Marilyn was born on February 21, 1958 in Chicago, a daughter of Clarence McClary and Ida Belle Moore McClary. Marilyn was a homemaker. She enjoyed cooking, baking, laughing and spending time with her family.

Survivors include her children, Fondzelle McClary, Rock Island and Justin McClary, Rock Island; six grandchildren; sisters, Glenda McClary-Lomax, Rock Island and Marlene McClary, Rock Island; nieces, Melissa Daniels, Chariema Lomax; and a nephew, Darnell Lomax.

Marilyn was preceded in death by her parents; brother, Charles T. Moore; and a sister, Diane Daniels.
