Mickey was born on February 8, 1936 in Taylor Ridge, a daughter of Bernard and Edith McManus. She married Kenneth "Kenny" McGinnis on January 2, 1954 inMilan. The two were a couple in the truest sense of the word; never apart for any length of time. For most of their 60 plus years together, Mickey was a homemaker. She kept her home and raised her five children with endless love and energy that few could match. She had a sometimes wicked sense of humor, but was always kind and giving to others. In later years, she worked at Big Boy and Scamper Inn restaurants, still doing what she did best; taking care of others.

Mickey was a very loving and much loved woman. It was truly a blessing to have her in our lives.

She is survived by her husband, Kenneth; children and spouses, Ken and Donna McGinnis; Tony and Carol McGinnis, Scott and Terri McGinnis, Patrick McGinnis and Della Boetje, Michelle and Bud VanKlavern; her grandchildren and spouses, Amy and Brian Croegaert and their children Charli and Kylie, Kate and Chris Ryan and children, Wyatt and Lyla, Matt McGinnis and Becky Klemme, Jake McGinnis and Beth Rasmussen, Melissa McGinnis and Cole McGinnis; brothers and their spouses, Mike and MaryAnn McManus; Jim and Patty McManus, John and Rosie McManus; sisters, Teresa Bush and her husband, Darrel and Nancy McManus, and her dearest friend, Billie Gastel.
