Marilyn L. Starrine, 86, of Moline, IL, passed away Thursday July 20, 2017 at UnityPoint-Trinity, Rock Island.

A graveside memorial service will be 1:00 p.m. Friday, July 28th, at Gardens of Rest Memorial Park in Wells, Michigan, with inurnment following. Wheelan-Pressly Funeral Home and Crematory, Rock Island, is assisting the family with arrangements. Memorials may be made to St.Pius X Church Rock Island,Illinois.

Marilyn was born September 24, 1930 in Escanaba, Michigan, a daughter of Fred and Eva Sauve Courier. She was a homemaker, and loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. Her Christian faith was very important to her throughout her life. Marilyn enjoyed watching the birds at home, keeping up with current events on CNN, following the weather on the Weather Channel and faithfully watched EWTN.

Those left to cherish her memory are her children (and spouses), Daniel (Karen) Starrine, Bettendorf, IA, Carole Near, Milan, Darille (Susan) Starrine, Milan, and Mary Starrine, Marianna, FL; grandchildren, Richard, Alexis, Heather, Ashley, Amber, Darille (Theresa), Elizabeth (Kyle), Kimberly (Devin), Melissa (Jivko), Joseph, Michael (Olena) and Kassi; great grandchildren, Daniel, Ava, Leah, Kage, Lola, Milena, Joseph, Matthew and Thomas; and numerous nieces, nephews and additional family.

Marilyn was preceded in death by her parents; son, Dennis Starrine; son-in-law, Marvin Near; brothers, Francis and Leonard Courier; and sister, Rhea Abramson.
