Marilyn G. Wells-Branson, 72, of Moline, passed away on Thursday, January 22, 2015 at Rosewood Care Center, Moline. There will be no services or visitation. Cremation rites have been accorded. Wheelan-Pressly Funeral Home, Rock Island is assisting the family.

Marilyn was born on September 8, 1942 in Moline. She was the daughter of Hazel Lawson-Wells and step daughter of Harold G. Wells. She graduated from Moline Senior High School. She worked at the Rock Island Arsenal before her retirement. Marilyn married Jim Branson.

Left to cherish her memory is a son, Scott Crawford, Rock Island; step father, Harold Wells, Moline; sisters, Patty Sigmon, Medford, OR., Carol Ray, Tennessee; and a brother, John Wells, Charlotte, N.C.

Waiting for her at the gates of Heaven are a son, Keith Crawford; mother, Hazel Lawson-Wells; and sisters, Linda Harris and Jerri Nelson.
