Marion B. Lingner, 93, of Rock Island, passed away on Tuesday, June 23, 2015 at Hope Creek Care Center, East Moline. Memorial services will be held at 1:00pm on Tuesday at Wheelan-Pressly Funeral Home, Rock Island. Visitation will be one hour prior to services at the funeral home. Burial will be in Rock Island National Cemetery. Memorials may be made to Hope Creek Care Center. Wheelan Pressly Funeral Home, Rock Island is assisting the family.

Marion was born on November 19, 1921 in Rock Island, a daughter of Charles and Adele (Catton) Bleuer. She married Wesley Lingner on September 4, 1955 in Rock Island. She worked as the evening receptionist at the Argus Dispatch for many years, along with working part time at the Hauberg Civic Center.

Survivors include her sons, Michael (Carol), Silvis, David (Nancy), Branson, Mo., Adam (Marcy), Maple Grove, Minn., and Brian (Andrea), Overland Park, Kan. along with several grandchildren and great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Wesley, sister, Adele Smith and brother, Charles W. Bleuer.
