Marjorie A. "Anne" Macklin, 84, of Rock Island, passed away on Tuesday, April 28, 2015 at her home. There will be no services or visitation. Memorials may be made to the American Heart Association. Wheelan-Pressly Funeral Home, Rock Island is assisting the family.

Anne was born on August 25, 1931 in Texas. She married Fred Macklin in Lawrence, Kansas. Anne had worked as a social worker at Ft. Leavenworth, Kansas. She enjoyed crossword puzzles, reading and her pets.

Survivors include her husband, Fred; a son, Stefan Schay, Davenport; and a grandson, Josh (Nikki) Schay, Chicago.
