Marjorie A. Patronagio, 85, of Moline, passed away Monday, October 13, 2014 at UnityPoint Health-Trinity Rock Island. Services are 10:00 a.m. Friday at the Wheelan-Pressly Funeral Home, Rock Island. Burial will follow at Rock Island National Cemetery. Visitation is Thursday from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. at the funeral home, where a Rosary will be recited at 4:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in care of Jordan Catholic School or Niabi Zoo.

Marjorie Ann Wahlheim was born on April 6, 1929 in Rock Island, the daughter of Former Rock Island Fire Chief Charles and Martha Gruske Wahlheim. She married George Patronagio on December 29, 1956 at St. Pius X Catholic Church, Rock Island.

Marjorie was a homemaker who loved caring for her beloved family. She was a member of St. Ambrose Catholic Church, Milan. In her spare time, Marjorie enjoyed traveling, walking, reading, spending time with friends and family, and doting on her dog, Dolly.

Left to cherish her memory are her daughters; Martie (Clint) Dixon, Reynolds and Debbie Patronagio, Moline; son, Mark Patronagio, Moline; and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. Especially Fran Doerr, Rock Island who introduced Marjorie to her husband, George.

She was preceded in death by her husband, parents, step-mother; Marta Williams Wahlheim and a brother, Charles Wahlheim.
