Mark W. Braverman, 68, of Bettendorf, Iowa, passed peacefully in his sleep at home on Monday July 10, 2023.

A traditional Jewish graveside with Military Honors took place on Tuesday July 11, 2023 in Rock Island Hebrew Cemetery. A gathering to Celebrate his life will be held from 1:00-4:00pm, Sunday October 22, 2023 at American Legion Post 26, 702 W. 35th Street, Davenport, Iowa.

Mark was born on June 1, 1955 in Rochester, New York, the son of Leonard and Miriam Braverman. After high school, Mark served in the United States Air Force from 1975 to 1977.

Mark had a son and daughter from a previous marriage. He met Deb (Forret) Morgan in 2001 and were later married on July 9, 2006.

Mark loved to travel, go on cruises, having spirited conversations with family and friends, and watch his favorite tv shows. He always tried to help others the best he could.

Survivors include his wife, Deb; his son, Lee (Aliza) Braverman and their daughters, Ayelet and Leah; his daughter, Heather Braverman and her two sons, Nachman and Ezra; Deb's daughters, Heather (Ken) Chavis and their children, Joey and Kaylynn, Katie (Ty) Scott and their daughter, Lexi; Mark's sister, Carol Braverman Kauffman.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

A Celebration of Life gathering will be held at a later date.
