Mark A. Donner, 70, of Illinois City, passed away Friday, May 31, 2024, at his residence.

Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Friday, June 7, 2024, at St. Matthew Lutheran Church, Milan. Visitation will be held from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Thursday, June 6, 2024, at Wheelan-Pressly Funeral Home and Crematory, 201 E. 4th Avenue, Milan. Burial will be in Chapel Grove Cemetery.

Mark was born March 10, 1954, in Le Mars, Iowa, to Vernon and Marlis (Ebert) Donner. He graduated from Rockridge High School in 1972. Mark retired as a carpenter from Local Union 166 after working over 30 years. He was a member of St. Matthew Lutheran Church in Milan. Mark enjoyed riding his Harley, skiing, boating, and farming.

Survivors include his mother, Marlis; siblings, Dennis (Karen Curtis) Donner, Michael Donner, Roger Donner, David (Pam) Donner, Jeanene (Rick) Rippel, Tim (fiancé, Angela Carbone) Donner, and Karlene (John) Campbell; and several nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, and close friends.

Mark was preceded in death by his father, Vernon; and sister and brother-in-law, Marcia and Craig Carter.

Memorials may be made to St. Matthew Lutheran Church, Milan in Mark's memory.
