Mark W. Forbes, 64, of Milan, passed away Monday April 28, 2025 at his home.

Visitation will be from 1:00-4:00 PM Sunday May 4, 2025 at Wheelan-Pressly Funeral Home and Crematory, Milan. Attendees are asked to wear their favorite Chicago Bears, Cubs and Iowa Hawkeye attire. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be left in Mark's name to the American Cancer Society.

Mark was born on February 25, 1961 in Rock Island, the son of William and Lorraine (Clements) Forbes. He was a graduate of United Township High School. He married Christine "Chris" Caldwell on August 21, 1987.

Mark had been employed at CES Davenport as a hoist and crane inspector.

Mr. Forbes was an avid Chicago Cubs, Bears and Iowa Hawkeye fan, he loved watching baseball and spending time with his family.

Survivors include his wife, Chris; children, Megan (Brice) Boemecke, Kayla (Kristopher) Kopp, Brett (Edith) Tooley, Jason (Angela) Sheridan; 12 grandchildren; siblings, Laurie Forbes and Bud (Salli) Forbes; a niece and nephew.

He was preceded in death by his parents, William and Lorraine.
