Mark S. Wiggins, 57, of Rock Island, died Thursday, May 15, 2014 at UnityPoint Health - Trinity Rock Island.Private services are Saturday at the Wheelan-Pressly Funeral Home, Rock Island. Private burial is at Calvary Cemetery, Rock Island. Memorials may be made to St. Pius X Catholic Church or Rock Island County Council On Addictions.

Mark Stephen Wiggins was born April 16, 1957 in Moline, a son of William B. and Mary C. "Deannie" Buckman Wiggins.

He graduated from Alleman High School in 1975. Mark had worked for Bullock Garages and later was a self-employed contractor. He was currently working for Old Dominion Freight Lines, Rock Island.

Mark was a member of St. Pius X Catholic Church. He had a great sense of humor and enjoyed telling jokes and playing cards.

Survivors include his sons, Ryan and Chase Wiggins, Rock Island; mother, Deannie Wiggins, Rock Island; sisters and brothers, Melinda (Tom) Doyle, Bettendorf, Mike (Jane) Wiggins, Rock Island, John Wiggins, Wilmington, S.C., Anne (Jeff) Prickett, Dublin, Ohio and Nancy (Greg) Fisher, Atlanta, Ga.; and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father, Bill.
