Marlene Angela McClary, 60, of Rock Island, passed away Sunday December 9, 2023 at her home.

Services will be 11:00 a.m. Friday, December 29, 2023 at Wheelan-Pressly Funeral Home and Crematory, Rock Island. Visitation will be one hour prior to services from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. at the funeral home. Inurnment will be in Chippiannock Cemetery, Rock Island. Memorials may be left to the family.

Marlene was born on November 1, 1963 in Chicago, the daughter of Clarence and Ida (Belle) McClary.

Marlene was a devoted sister and friend, who was always willing to help where needed.

She loved spending time with her family and friends, Asian culture, movies, art and décor.

Those left to cherish her memory include her sister, Glenda Lomax-McClary; nephews, Darnell Lomax, Fondzelle McClary, Justin McClary; niece, Chariema Lomax and a host of extended family members.

She was preceded in death by her parents, brother, Charles T. Moore, sister, Marilyn and nephew, Mantral McClary.
