Marlin L. Reynolds, 80, of Milan, passed away on Friday, November 15, 2024, on his farm. Funeral services for Mr. Reynolds will be Friday at 11:30 am at the Wheelan-Pressly Funeral Home and Crematory, Milan. Visitation will be Thursday from 4 to 7 pm at the funeral home. Burial will be in the Reynolds Cemetery. Memorials may be made to the Leukemia Research Foundation.
Marlin was born on August 16, 1944, in Moline, son of Leo and Freda (Miller) Reynolds. Marlin worked for the Rock Island County Highway Department, retiring in 2017. Marlin was a farmer on his family farm all his life. At the time of his passing, Marlin was working on his farm doing what he loved. He was a member of the Milan American Legion, NRA, and the Rock Island County Farm Bureau. Marlin enjoyed collecting Allis-Chalmers tractors, big and small. He could fix almost anything and was always willing to help his neighbor's. He was a veteran of the Army National Guard.
Survivors include his sister, Margo White, Milan; a niece, Teresa L. (Steven) Bradley, Milan; nephews, Todd L. (Crystal) White, Andalusia, Troy L. (Val) White, Sherrard, and Terry L. (Chelle) White, Davenport; great nieces and nephews, John, Sam, Josh, Kylee, Mason, Gavyn, Elethia, Brady, and Kristina.
Marlin was preceded in death by his parents.
