Marsha "Gail" Hotchkiss, age 78, of Milan, Illinois, passed away peacefully on Friday, May 9, 2025, at UnityPoint Health – Trinity in Rock Island. In honoring her wishes, cremation rites have been accorded. A private graveside service will be held at Greenview Memorial Gardens in East Moline.

Gail was born on March 5, 1947, in Winfield, Alabama, the beloved daughter of Clinton and Charlene Estes Westbrook. She and her devoted husband Ronald J. Hotchkiss were united in marriage on June 19, 1965, in Moline, Illinois.

Throughout her life, Gail was a passionate beautician and dedicated manager of Hotchkiss Electric. Her spirit of service extended beyond her career; she generously volunteered at Thomas Jefferson Elementary School in Milan.

A faithful member of First Presbyterian Church in Milan, Gail served as a deacon for several years, embodying the values of compassion and community. She found joy in traveling with her husband, Ron, and creating cherished memories with her beloved grandchildren.

Gail is survived by her devoted husband, Ronald Hotchkiss; her son, Ronald (Mary) Hotchkiss of Cincinnati, Ohio; her daughter, Marcya Hotchkiss of Milan; and her treasured grandchildren, Alex, Tyler, Meredith, and Mylie. She was preceded in death by her parents, Clinton and Charlene Westbrook.
