Martha A. Eggleston, 56, of Rock Island, passed away Saturday February 17, 2018 at UnityPoint- Trinity, Rock Island.

A memorial service and celebration of her life will be 1:30 p.m. Saturday at Wheelan-Pressly Funeral Home and Crematory, Rock Island. Inurnment will be at a later date. Memorials may be made to the family.

Martha was born October 26, 1961 in Columbus, Miss., a daughter of Jimmie and Essie Morgan Eggleston.

She worked many years for the Illinois Department of Corrections.

Those left behind to cherish her memory are her, mother, Essie; children, Andrew and Donnell Eggleston; grandchildren; and sisters, Diane Mayfield, Sherry Eggleston, Jacqueline Eggleston, and Loretta Betts, Jimmenia Eggleston; and a host of nieces, nephews and additional family.
