Martin T. Carmack, 66, of Rock Island, passed away Sunday, June 18, 2023, at his home.

Cremation rites will be accorded. Per his wishes no services will be held at this time. A celebration of life will be held at a later date. Wheelan-Pressly Funeral Home and Crematory, Rock Island is assisting the family. Memorials may be made to the family.

Martin was born November 17, 1956, in Davenport, IA, to Lee and Mary Ann (Daley) Carmack. He served in the United States Army. Martin was a member of the Rock Island Boat Club. He enjoyed fishing, Rolle Bolle, and playing pool. Martin was everyone's handyman and was a true friend. Martin loved spending time cooking and joking around with all his nieces and nephews.

Those left to cherish his memory are his siblings, Tony (Donna) Carmack, Theresa Carmack, Colleen (Larry) Hansen, Alice Carmack; sister-in-law, Berni Carmack; special cousin, Katherine Ehlers; and many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, siblings, Michael Carmack, Kitty Zbleski, Mary Jane Carmack, and Christopher Carmack.
