Mary M. Brixey, 84, of Moline, passed away Saturday April 5, 2014 at Heartland Health Care Center, Moline.A Mass of Christian Burial will be 1:15pm, Wednesday at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Rock Island. Visitation will be Tuesdaay from 4:00-7:00pm at Wheelan-Pressly Funeral Home, Rock Island. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery, Rock Island. Memorials may be made to Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Rock Island.

Mary was born on December 23, 1929 in Rock Island, the daughter of William and Theresa "Daisy" (Schon) Ware. She married Charles Brixey on August 26, 1950 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Rock Island.

Mrs. Brixey had been employed by Hannie Printing Company, Rock Island, retiring in 1989.

She was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Rock Island and was a graduate of Rock Island High School Class of 1947.

She is survived by her son and daughter in law, John and Janice Brixey, Rock Island; granddaughters, Chris Ann Brixey, Moline, Beth (Louis) Brems, Rock Island; brother, William (Elizabeth) Ware, East Moline and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles on May 11, 2012 and her parents.
