Mary E. Custer, 80, of Moline, died Friday, November 27, 2020 at Hope Creek Care Center, East Moline.  Cremation rites were accorded.  There will be no services.  Memorials may be made in care of ASPCA.  Wheelan-Pressly Funeral Home and Crematory, Rock Island, is assisting the family.

Mary was born in Rock Island, Illinois on September 26, 1940, a daughter of Herbert and Leona Arvidson Bruhn.  She married Thomas Custer with whom she had two children.  They later divorced.

Mary last worked as a cashier for Mulkey's Restaurant in Rock Island.  She loved crafting.

Those left to cherish her memory include her sons, Chris and Jeffrey Custer; grandson, Brian Custer; one great-grandson; and sisters, Nancy Marckese, Barbara Wise and Sharon Kolls.

She was preceded in death by her parents, grandson – Jeffrey Custer Jr., brother – William Bruhn and sisters – Pam Lopez, Patricia Mosley and Donna Hendrix.
