Mary Culver-Jackson, 68, of Rock Island, passed away Sunday December 8, 2018 at Rosewood Care Center, Moline.

Per her wishes there will be no public services.

Mary was born on January 3, 1951 in Homer, LA., the daughter of Mamon and Bernice (Johnson) Hill. She married Van Jackson. He preceded her on April 11, 1999.

She had been a homemaker most of her adult life. She had enjoyed being able to stay home to raise her daughter.

Mary loved spending time with her family and friends, was a wonderful cook and a voracious reader.

Survivors include her loving daughter, Joy Jackson, Moline; brothers, Robert E. Hill and Steven D. Hill, both of Rock Island.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Van; parents, Mamon and Bernice; brothers, Herschel, Michael and Carl Hill; sister, Maggie Hill.
