Mary Louise De Pooter, 36, of Milan, died Wednesday, March 7, 2018 at home surrounded by family.  Services will be 11 a.m. Wednesday at Wheelan-Pressly Funeral Home and Crematory, Milan.  A rosary will be recited at 3:30 p.m. Tuesday followed by visitation from 4-7 p.m. at the funeral home.  Memorials may be made in care of University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics, Neurology Department.

Mary was born in Silvis, Illinois on July 1, 1981, a daughter of Timothy and Susan Aitken De Pooter.  She graduated from Rock Island High School in 2000.

Mary loved her pets, fishing, camping, archery, traveling, riding her bike, quad runners and horses.

Those left to cherish her memory include her parents, Timothy and Susan De Pooter, Milan; sisters, Leslie (Jeff) Foster, Rock Island and Kellie (Holly Deremiah) De Pooter, Lisle, Ill.; brother, Christopher (Dustin Sierra) De Pooter, Germany; and nieces and nephews, Klayton, Kayla and Kaitlyn Garcia and Tristan, Ivie and Emilie Lindquist.

She was preceded in death by her grandparents.
