Mary A. DeSchepper, 84, of Milan, passed away Friday September 22, 2023 at Park Vista, East Moline.

Services will be 11:00am Tuesday at Wheelan-Pressly Funeral Home and Crematory, Milan. Visitation will be from 10:00am to service time at the funeral home. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery, Rock Island. Memorials may be left to St. Jude's Children Hospital.

Mary was born on October 15, 1938 in Muscatine, Iowa, the daughter of William Finch Sr. and Dorothy (Valett) Finch. She married Robert DeSchepper on November 10, 1956 in Milan, Illinois.

Mary had been employed at the Rock Island Arsenal as a secretary. She had been a active member of St. Ambrose Catholic Church, Milan, where she participated in the Mission Ladies. Mary was also a member of Willabees Card Club and Old Timers Club. She loved playing cards and had volunteered with the Colts Drum and Bugle Corps based out of Dubuque, Iowa for over 28 years.

Survivors include her husband of 66 years, Robert; sons, Donald (Cindy) DeSchepper, Daniel (Barb) DeSchepper, Richard DeSchepper; grandchildren, Timothy (Beth Ann) DeSchepper, Sean (Beth) DeSchepper, Kathleen DeSchepper, Kayla DeSchepper, Ryan (Liz) VanHoosier; and brother, Michael Finch.

She was preceded in death by her parents; sons, Doug and Dean DeSchepper; sister, Donna Herbert; and brother, William Finch Jr.
