Mary Ann Carleton, 81, of Milan, passed away Sunday, March 13, 2016 at UPH-Trinity, Rock Island.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM on Wednesday, March 16, 2016 at Wheelan-Pressly Funeral Home and Crematory, 3030 7th Ave., Rock Island.  Visitation will be from 4 PM to 7 PM on Tuesday, March 15, 2016 at the funeral home.  Burial will be at Memorial Park Cemetery, Rock Island.  In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the American Lung Association.

Mary Ann was born on March 3, 1935 in Moline, the daughter of Omar and Anna Marie (Carlson) Geyssens.  She married Eddie Carleton Jr. and later separated.  Mary Ann worked for Younkers as a sales associate before retiring in 2005.  She enjoyed crocheting and spending time with her family.

Mary Ann is survived by her children, Debbie Pauley, Eddie Carleton III, Brenda (Clayton) Wiesenborn, Craig Carleton, Cheryl Carleton, Mark Carleton, Lisa (Jeff) Robinson, and Doug (Staci) Carleton; 18 grandchildren; 22 great grandchildren; and 4 great-great grandchildren.  She was preceded in death by her parents; brother, Morris J. Kinser; son-in-law, Rick Pauley; and step father, William Kinser.
