Mary Lou DeMarlie, 68, of Reynolds, passed away Monday July 18, 2016 at her home.

Funeral services will be 10:00am Friday at St. Patrick's Catholic Church, Andalusia. Visitation will be from 4:00-7:00pm Thursday at Wheelan-Pressly Funeral Home, Milan, with a rosary recited at 3:30pm. Burial will be in the Reynolds Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Christian Care, Rock Island, St. Patrick's Catholic Church or American Cancer Society - Hope Lodge.

Mary Lou was born on August 21, 1947 Manitowoc, WI, the daughter of Harry and Agnes (Grott) Johannes. She married Roger Elliott in April of 1969 and he preceded her in death. She later married Joe DeMarlie on April 30, 2007 in Rome, Italy.

Mrs. DeMarlie had been employed as a Corporate secretary at Johannes Bus Service, Rock Island for 40 years, retiring in 2015.

She was a member of St. Patrick's Catholic Church, where she was active in the choir and St. Patrick S.P.L.A.S.H.

Mary Lou loved spending time with her family and friends, especially her grandchildren. She also enjoyed traveling to Hawaii and her flowers.

Survivors include her husband, Joe; son, Rod Roger Elliott(Catherine Cruz), Noel (Ron) Dike, Chris (Kristin) DeMarlie; 3 grandchildren, Benjamin Joseph, Carolyn Elizabeth, Jacob Edward DeMarlie; brothers, Steven (Lana) Johannes, Charles (Deanna) Johannes; sisters, Rose (Gilbert) Matlick and Sally (David) Fisher.

She was preceded in death by her parents.
